Patrolling since 2018, our successful 3 Shires initiative has garnered considerable national media interest. Its success is based on the simple principal that we are safer when we work together to fight crime. Membership comprises local residents and businesses, each contributing a small amount to enable us to displace and deter crime from our rural communities. Operated by seasoned ex-HM Armed Forces professionals, including canine units, we implement proven crime reduction strategies during nightly overt and covert patrols in Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, and Northamptonshire. Our vigilant monitoring of members' properties plus extremely rapid response to alarms and calls provide considerable reassurance amid the challenges faced by over-stretched local police services.
